Longstanding Management Information System (MIS) integrator ZiNET have concluded a skills merger with Assembly, with their core team formally joining Assembly with immediate effect.
ZiNET Data Solutions have been offering a high quality MIS integration service to a range of education partners for a number of years. Now, their Founder Ian Tasker and CTO Jon Nicholson have joined Assembly, bringing their extensive accumulated experience and knowhow to the schools data platform.
As part of the arrangement, ZiNET’s Connect service will continue to run for a year, giving customers plenty of time to move their integration to the Assembly Platform. There will be no loss of functionality for current ZiNET customers, who will be able to access key ZiNET features from Assembly following the skills merger, including comprehensive timetabling and behaviour integrations.
Joshua Perry, Assembly: "We’ve been friends with the ZiNET team since we started out as Assembly over three years ago, and we’ve always respected their trustworthy approach to managing school data. We’re therefore delighted with this skills merger, which massively boosts our capacity and expertise in the area of integrating school data."
Ian Tasker, ZiNET Data Solutions: “Jon and I are excited to be joining Assembly as they share our ethos that the use of data can drive real change in learning. Through Assembly we will continue to provide our high quality service to our partners and together we will be capitalizing on our strengths to bring real improvements to education.”
NOTES FOR EDITORS
Assembly is a non-profit education data venture jointly founded by Ark, an education charity and UK academy trust, and NEON Foundation, the philanthropic arm of a family office. Assembly aims to transform the way schools use data to inform decision-making. Assembly’s cloud-based data platform allows different products to integrate with each other and share valuable data. The platform also offers schools easy to understand, visual analytics combining data from across multiple systems. Assembly doesn’t replace existing systems; it connects them.
